Celebrities Gather To Re-Record We Are The World For Haiti

A remake of the classic song “We Are The World” was recorded on Monday with a featured cast of more than 100 entertainers taking part. Proceeds from this new song’s downloads will further contribute towards the ongoing Haitian relief efforts.
Word has it that Janet Jackson was unable to make it to the performance and instead taped her part in the city of Atlanta.
Also Lil Wayne, will reportedly recreate Bob Dylan’s part from the original (which comes in at the 3:45 mark).
