We upgraded our television package at http://www.directstartv.com/ and I have been constantly watching the Food Network. I really didn’t know what I was missing. I have always loved to cook, but have relied on Cookbooks and instruction from my mother. Unfortunately, my husband’s job has taken us two thousand miles away from home and I don’t have anyone to help me learn how to cook. Now, I have the Food Network! I have actually been surprised by how many chefs on the network are good about showing you actual cooking techniques. I was watching a male French chef the other day ( for the life of me I can’t remember his name!) and he showed how to create perfect julienned veggies. I have always read about julienning but have never been able to get them just right. After I watched the tutorial on television… walla… no veggie will go un chopped around me! I love the Food Network, upgrading was the best investment that I have made in a long time ( my husband agrees)!
