Whitney Houston apparently is set to play the part of a jazz singer in an upcoming Tyler Perry film titled; Jazz Man’s Blues. Tyler Perry spoke of this film back as early as 2009, but constant conflicts, re-writes, and character changes lead to the films many push-backs. Well it looks like this film may just see the light of day.

“Walk Like You Have Somewhere To Go” by Lucille O’Neal with Allison Samuels.

Lucille O’Neal is the mother of sport icon Shaquille O’Neal. This book tells her story and shows the process she went through to change “From Mental Welfare to Mental Health”. Offering a incredibly different look at life and humanity from many different angles.

This book surprised me from beginning to end. It’s complicated, it’s nuanced and you never reach a point where you can sit down and say “these are the good guys, these are the bad guys.”
It’s never that simple and no-one is that clean. We’re continuously hit from all sides with a barrage of questions and things to think about.
