The album with the third-largest sales week of 2011 is Drake’s “Take Care,” which debuts at No. 1 by selling 631,000 copies in its first week, according to Nielsen SoundScan.
The only two sets to sell more in a week this year were Lady Gaga’s “Born This Way” (1.1 million) and Lil Wayne’s “Tha Carter IV” (964,000).
“Take” is the rapper’s second chart-topper, following 2010’s “Thank Me Later,” which launched with 447,000.

Many fans stormed the internet with excitement when news of the early “surfacing” of drake’s sophomore set had leaked hit the airways. The news caught many off-guard given how guarded the project had been up until that point. The “Young Money” artist took to Twitter to voice his feelings about the situation and this is what he shared.
Earlier announced that it would be due for delivery this November (and then December), Monica has confirmed that her eagerly awaited ‘New Life’ album has been delayed once again and is set to be completely re-worked. The LP’s newly appointed arrival date is now set for February 21st 2012. Hopefully this date will not change. I have a huge appetite that can never get enough of good music and Monica un-questionably provides plenty of that.
